Erynne Dixon

Erynne Dixon is a graduate from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program at Bowie State University and a previous fellow in the National Board of Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Program. She intends to work with clients of all backgrounds seeking support with anxiety/depression management, life transitions, stress and trauma, and identity development using an integrative person-centered orientation that incorporates cognitive behavioral and multicultural counseling principles. Erynne has experience promoting mental health across the lifespan, as she started her career working in neurodiverse youth education settings and continues her current work with adults in private practice settings. She aspires to use social justice informed practices to empower clients through culturally sensitive counseling therapy. As a self-care advocate, Erynne encourages clients to develop their own means of relaxation and reset in the same way she does through her athletic and creative pursuits.
