I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2021 from SUNY Empire State University. I am a graduate student counselor currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Maryland. I am completing my internship under Hopeful Counseling.
I have been with the program for two years and will be entering my final year starting in the Fall 2024 semester. I currently work with adolescents/teenagers and adults/seniors from all demographics. My top specialties include grief and bereavement, anxiety, depression, and family/peer conflict. Services provided include individual, family, and group counseling.
My counseling approach is integrative, incorporating person-centered, narrative, family systems, constructivist, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and elements of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) methods.
Sessions typically last 50 minutes to 1 hour for individuals and families, and 1.5 hours for group sessions. Clients should know that their affiliation with the organization and all sessions are confidential. However, exceptions to confidentiality apply in cases of expressed intent to harm oneself or others, suspected child abuse or neglect, or if required by a court order.
