As a mental health counselor, I believe that everyone deserves to be the best version of themselves. You may ask yourself, “Well, what does that look like?” It looks like you are looking in the mirror and finding the best parts of you to glean from. Yes, we all have flaws and room for growth, and this is where I enter the picture as a counselor to help you grow and develop into your best self under your guidance during your therapy sessions, as you have the right to your autonomy. You are the expert about your life, so you get to steer the ship during sessions. We will focus on your needs, whether they stem from past trauma or pain, or are related to your current position in life.  It does not matter what is transpiring in your life; my job as a mental health professional is for us to process your emotions and feelings in a safe space where you can be your genuine and authentic self. 

I will provide you with the utmost respect and care that you need to work through your journey at your own pace. My dedication is focusing on trauma, and everyday life issues with mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Stress Management, active listening, empathy, and supportive care. 

If you are between the ages of 5 -105, I am willing to help you become your best self.  With time and patience, you will begin to see the other person in the mirror grow and develop into the best version of yourself. My motto is, “Therapy will work if you work therapy.”
